The first step if for your parent organization to take control of their organization’s Razoo page (check out the NonProfit Toolkit for instructions on how to do that).
After your parent organization has done that, each of the organizations needs to create their own fundraising page for Valley Gives. To create a fundraising page, you need to go to the main organization’s page and on the right side there is a white box called “more ways you can help.” Click the “fundraise” button and follow the instructions. (Watch this video on How to Create a Fundraiser)
Very important: If the sponsoring organization (the one with the EIN) also wants to participate in Valley Gives, they too will need to create a distinct page for themselves( that way donations don’t double-count).
Once you create your fundraising pages, e-mail email@example.com with the url of the fundraising pages. We’ll get you all set up so you’ll be included in the organizational search and on the leaderboards on the day of Valley Gives.
Each project will be able to view a donation report specific to their particular fundraising page – so for any donations made to the page you create, you will have full access to in terms of reporting. After Valley Gives is over The disbursement of funds you raise will be in a lump sum to the parent organization, since they are the ones on file with the IRS. The parent organization will have access to a full donation report itemizing which donations are directed to each project so your internal accounting can re-distribute accordingly
